'He's in my world' - Jaron 'Boots' Ennis sends final warning to Karen Chukhadzhian ahead of world title fight

The two clash for the IBF welterweight title on Saturday night.

IBF welterweight champion Jaron Ennis is fired up ahead of his next world title defence.

On Saturday night, live on DAZN from Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center, Ennis will face Ukraine's Karen Chukhadzhian in a rematch of their 2023 contest.

A second meeting with Chukhadzhian is not the fight which Ennis desired with 'Boots' eager to pursue unifications and chance at becoming the undisputed champion at 147lbs, however, boxing politics has meant the American needs to take this contest in order to keep hold of his belt.

The first fight between Ennis and Chukhadzhian ended in a unanimous decision win for the former, and speaking at the final press conference, Ennis is confident that Saturday's fight will not go the full 12-round distance.

"I’m not going to lie, he’s getting knocked out on Saturday," Ennis said.

"We’re gonna have some fun, we’re gonna put on a show. It doesn’t matter what he does, we’re going to put on a show and make a big statement Saturday night. We’re gonna have a party.”

“I’m going to have my fun and put on a show. I’m going to just be me and dictate the fight. It’s my ring, he’s in my world.

“My main focus right now is Karen Chukhadzhian and after I make a big statement Saturday night in knockout fashion, it’s undisputed. Bring me my belts.”

Ennis is not the only world champion appearing on the card, in the co-main event WBC super flyweight champion and one of the world's best pound-for-pound talents Jesse 'Bam' Rodriguez will take on Pedro Guevara.
