The boxing world will be fixated on Wembley Stadium on Saturday as Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois go head-to-head in a huge heavyweight undisputed rematch.

The pair's previous showdown ended in a controversial win for the Ukrainian, but since then, Dubois has rebuilt his reputation with a string of notable wins, culminating in his impressive victory against Anthony Joshua for the IBF title last year.

Now the British fighter has his sight set on dethroning Usyk and taking his WBA, WBC and WBO championships in what would be a history-making victory.

However, do these familiar boxing names think Dubois can overcome Usyk? Here's how they think the fight will go down.

Tony Bellew, former opponent of Oleksandr Usyk

"When Usyk beat him a couple of years ago, it looked like it could have been the end for Dubois, but he has taken that defeat and used it to improve and push on. So, credit to him for that.

"The Joshua win shocked me, but that result would have made Usyk take note, and he will prepare for this like it is the biggest fight of his life, as he cuts no corners.

"Dubois will have his moments, and he could even hurt or drop Usyk, but I just see Usyk knowing too much and being too smart. Usyk on points or a late stoppage like the first fight."

Kevin Larena, former opponent of Daniel Dubois

"Dubois has a Massive chance. He's got so much confidence at the moment. And a confident fighter is a dangerous fighter because he believes he can do no wrong and he's that good. He's strong. He's a big puncher.

"He needs to be respected. I don't say he's of the skill set of an Oleksandr Usyk, but he's a good enough boxer to disrupt Usyk because he's got power, he's got a terrific jab."

Derek Chisora, British heavyweight

"The safe money is on Usyk, I'm not going to lie to you.

"But you never know with this young kid [Daniel Dubois].

"He's hungry, he wants it. This is the second time coming around for this fight, so everybody is going to be pushing.

"We will see what happens on July 19."

Zhilei Zhang, Chinese heavyweight star

"I used to be a fan of Usyk's style, and I still am.

"But this time I 'm favouring Dubois."

Frazer Clarke, heavyweight contender

“I see Usyk winning the fight by a late stoppage.

"Having said that, and I’m not one to sit on the fence, but I could also see Daniel hitting Usyk with a body shot and that causing the fight to be stopped.

“That’s the only way I see Dubois winning the fight. If he can hit him in the body with the correct shot, it will do some real damage.”

Carl Frampton, former world champion

"I would still have Usyk as the favourite, but Daniel has a chance in the fight.

"Look at how the first fight went with the body shot or whatever it was. I think what Daniel has to do is know he's not winning points unless there's a few knockdowns or something like that. Usyk is a master boxer, can figure people out on the night as well. He only has to look at them and kind of works out what he has to do.

"But Daniel's jab would be very, very important in this fight. He's got one of the most underrated jabs probably in world boxing. Just a ramrod of a jab.

"It's fast and it's powerful. And then we have seen a little bit of vulnerability to Usyks body. So be nailing the body when you get the chance.

"But I think they impose his size, really. And try to drag Usyk into a bit of a dogfight, really.

"Rather than boxing him at a distance, even though he's a bigger man, Usyk is cute enough to kind of evade anything, I think, from a distance.

"So get close, use your weight on him,  be hammering him with that jab all night."

Canelo Alvarez, two-time undisputed super middleweight champion

"Oleksandr has very strong stamina; he’s very technical and smart.

"When I see someone with that kind of focus, I back them.

"That’s why I placed a big bet on his victory. Oleksandr, you do you!"

Carl Froch, former super-middleweight champion

"My prediction would always be to pick Usyk.

"You have to look at previous form and what he's done. He was an exceptional amateur, winning a gold medal, and a former undisputed cruiserweight world champion.

"On top of that, he was undisputed at cruiserweight and now at heavyweight. Regardless of having all of the belts, he's beaten AJ twice, beaten Tyson Fury twice. They were the two best heavyweights before he joined the scene.

"Although Dubois is improving and growing in confidence, I still feel that Usyk has enough left. He hasn't shown any signs of decline. For 12 rounds, again, he put in high work rate, good reflexes, nice head movement and finished the fight strongly.

"I can't see Dubois beating Usyk. I'm not sure he has the speed or the skill. That being said, it's heavyweight boxing and he can punch really hard, so he'll always have an outside chance."

Terrance Crawford, light-middleweight champion

"He (Dubois) did great. He did great in the Anthony Joshua fight.

"He's going to be right up there with those guys as well. His fight with Usyk. Usyk was a controversial punch.

"Some people felt as if the punch that was counted low was legal.  So, you know, who knows how the fight will go when they fight again."

Lennox Lewis, boxing legend

"I’m thinking he’s (Dubois) ready. He’s been through the trials and tribulations.

"He’s the king slayer. He’s got the power. He’s been there before. He was just there, he knocked the guy down, so he knows what he needs to do.

“It’s not an easy task, but he’s definitely the man that can go through with it. He’s done the work. He’s gone through the pedigree.

"He’s a certified world champion and I think he has big hopes on doing it. He’s going to do it.

“Obviously he’s seen a weakness in the first fight. I believe that there’s a weakness, you gotta attack it. Don’t give him no shortcuts.

"This fight is everything. I know Daniel’s a pretty determined, focused fighter. He’s going to be ready."

Dave Allen, British heavyweight

"I don't think he [Usyk] is a heavyweight. I still think he can do cruiserweight still now.

"I think it is all about timing. Daniel Dubois is getting better and better all the time and I think this is the right time for Daniel Dubois to beat Usyk."

Fabio Wardley, British heavyweight

"If he's (Dubois) proven anything, that he's got some grit, determination, and heart. Because that comeback, where he had a bit of a fall-off with the Joyce thing,  and then with even the loss to Usyk, and all the comeback, and the full U-turn, the full 360 he's done with his career, has been fantastic to watch.

"Look, we're all very big boys, we all hit very hard. And he's obviously getting better and better with each fight.

"So, he's riding on the biggest cloud of confidence at the moment. So, yeah, you give him a strong chance in that fight."

Johnny Nelson, former crusierweight champion

"“Daniel Dubois has two things in his favour, pace and power. He’s got to wait to see who makes the first mistake, or gets tired. At 38, there’s a strong chance that Usyk gets tired. We didn’t see Anthony Joshua’s time was coming until he got knocked out.”

Filip Hrgovic, heavyweight who lost to Dubois in 2024

"I think this is now a totally different fight than the first fight.

"In the first fight, Dubois was outboxed, outclassed,  and now I think he's definitely a different type of fighter. He had three great wins and his confidence is much better, much bigger.

"He did something with his chin, I don't know what, but his chin is better. He's a totally different fighter, so I expect a totally different fight  and a much harder fight for Usyk than the first fight.

"I still favour Usyk slightly, but I wouldn't be surprised if Daniel Dubois wins that."

Spencer Oliver, ex-British bantamweight

"I know Daniel Dubois, I have seen him work and know what they are working on tactically.

"They seemed quite far apart in 2023, Usyk was leagues apart from Dubois then.

"But he [Usyk] has not got much better since fighting Dubois, there is a lot of miles on the clock since then.

"There is no sign of deterioration, but Dubois is a different animal and a different character since that first fight.

"The two fights with Fury have put miles on the clock with Usyk, but Dubois has improved dramatically physically and mentally since then.

"This is a completely different fight since the first one, I'm tipping Dubois."
