Everton are near the bottom of the table ahead of their clash with Arsenal at Goodison Park on Saturday.

The Toffees have brought in Sean Dyche to turn the tide, with the hopes that he can help the club avoid their first relegation since the mid-20th century. Unfortunately for Dyche and Co., they come up against the only side that has been in the top flight for longer, and one that currently leads the Premier League.

Yet despite Arsenal's comfortable position vis a vis their hosts this weekend, Mikel Arteta isn't taking Saturday's match lightly.

"We have the experience in the last few years about how tough it has been, and we didn’t get the results that we wanted," the Arsenal boss said

"When there is a new manager the environment will change, and a lot of things change during the week, so it’s going to be a really tough test."

Arteta feels that Dyche is the right man for the Everton job, wishing the former Burnley manager the best — after their meeting.

"What Sean and the coaching staff did at Burnley speaks for itself," Arteta said.

"With the limited resources they had, they got incredible results very consistently in this very tough league. I like the character a lot, the presence and the clarity he brings to his team.

"Hopefully after [Saturday], he will be a great fit for Everton."
