BKFC 69: Fighter records the fastest knockout in combat sports historyDAZN

If you blinked, you missed it — one punch for an instant history-making knockout.

As soon as the opening bell of the BKFC 69 main card blared Friday night, Justin Watson unleashed a devastating right hand that crashed just behind the ear of Cole Ferrell for an unbelievable two-second knockout.

Not only was the knockout the quickest KO in BKFC history, but it was announced as the fastest KO in combat sports history, period, as the still-forming crowd at Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia erupted upon learning.

Though Ferrell briefly protested the knockout, it was clear he wasn't in any condition to continue the fight after falling face first and doubling over from Watson's thunderous right hand. Even when rising to his feet, Ferrell's legs were unsteady, still feeling the effects of the damaging blow.

"2.9 seconds, the fastest knockout in combat sports — unbelievable," said David Feldman, BKFC's founder and president, in a video posted on the organization's X social media account.
