Adrien Broner is set to end a two-year absence from the ring as he looks for his first victory in four years.

Adrien Broner had a rather crude and undeniably on-brand message for his critics, a week before he returns to the ring against Jovanie Santiago, telling them to "eat a d— and put gravy on it".

Broner has held multiple world championships in four different weight classes, but has not won a professional bout since taking a 10-round split decision over Adrian Granados on Feb, 18, 2017.

His most recent fight came against the legendary Manny Pacquiao, who scored a comfortable unanimous decision over "The Problem" back on Jan. 19, 2019.

Since then, most of Broner's fighting has taken place in a courtroom.

He was held in contempt of court and forced to return to jail by Cleveland judge Nancy Russo on Monday, after failing to meet multiple deadlines to show proof he could not pay $800,000 as part of a civil lawsuit filed by a woman he assaulted in 2018.

Now the 31-year-old hopes to revive his in-ring career and, more importantly, resume those all-important paydays.

But in an interview with TMZ, Broner made it clear that the brash and outspoken ways that helped make him a star in the first place were going nowhere.

"Eat a d— and put gravy on it," Broner told TMZ Sports, when asked what he thought of those who felt he would be a shell of his former self against little-known Puerto Rican fighter Santiago in their bout on Feb. 20.

"Our goal is to be another [champion] -- a five-time world champion soon -- so it's starting off February 20," Broner continued.

"I've matured a lot, I've been through a lot and ya know, it's just time to get to business and make my money and do what I do best and that's box."
