Russian veteran Alexander Povetkin aims to knock out Dillian Whyte again in their November rematch.
Whyte went into the Fight Camp finale as the WBC interim champion but lost out to the then 40-year-old heavyweight, who put him on the canvas in a huge upset.
While Whyte dominated the earlier stages of the fight, dropping Povetkin twice, he fell to a huge uppercut from Povetkin in the fifth round.
The 32-year-old Britain exercised a rematch clause and returned to training at his Portugal camp as soon as he could, in preparation for a November fight.
A date is now set for the 21st, and Povetkin told the Russian media that he was back in training for the fight.
"I'm preparing in the same way as I did for the last fight with this opponent," Povetkin said.
"I'm going to England to win. Let's see how the fight goes, but I'm only going in with the mindset to win. I will try to repeat the spectacular knockout over Whyte ... physically and mentally, I'm ready for this.
“After the last fight, I didn’t feel anything special, I was just pleased. I’m glad that I stayed patient and brought it to an end."
A win for the Russian, now 41, would likely give him the chance to fight the holder of the WBC belt in a mandatory challenger event. Tyson Fury currently holds the title, but is set for a December fight against an unconfirmed opponent, and is also due to fight Anthony Joshua in 2021.
