Amanda Serrano and Heather Hardy will meet for a second time when they come face to face in the co-main event of Jake Paul’s fight with Nate Diaz.
The pair met in 2019 when Serrano was victorious on points to become world champion at featherweight and each fighter is currently getting ready to do it again this summer.
Since defeating Hardy four years ago, Serrano’s career has seen her enjoy some brilliant highs but in 2022, Serrano was defeated by Katie Taylor in a terrific encounter in New York City.
Serrano has rebounded well since that loss and now she’s aiming to prove herself as one of the world’s best female fighters when she tackles Hardy again.
Both fighters were recent guest on The DAZN Boxing Show and Serrano spoke for both on their imminent encounter.
“We’re gonna bring it. We’re gonna bring it like we always do,” said Serrano following a respectful chat with Hardy and the show’s presenters, Ak and Barak.
“Heather’s not backing down. I’m not gonna back down. It’s gonna be a great fight. We’re gonna steal the show.”
