Mikaela Mayer is unsure about fighting in Britain again after suffering two defeats.
The last loss came two weekends ago when she fell short in a title fight with Natasha Jonas in Liverpool, losing by split decision.
Before then, she had also lost in London to Alycia Baumgardner.
The most recent defeat, though, hurts, with the American still sure she deserved to get the nod on points.
"What do I have to do to get a decision?" Mayer asked on Sky Sports. "It makes us all want to protect ourselves, protect our career.
"If I had protected myself a little bit more I wouldn't be in this position.
"The only two losses on my record are here and in London.
"I did that because you don't need to be protected in boxing if you want to fight the best… It's discouraging me from wanting to be that type of fighter which I feel boxing needs, people like me."
