Amir Khan thinks that Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua both have a shot at victory this weekend.
The heavyweight pair fight this Saturday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to contest Usyk’s IBF, WBA and WBO championship belts.
The 34-year-old Ukrainian defeated Joshua back in September 2021 in North London, in just his third heavyweight fight.
Usyk appears to have filled out in preparation for a more aggressive approach from his bigger and heavier rival.
Khan said to Sky Sports of Usyk that: "He put on an extra 15kgs and looked tremendous."
He continued: "After seeing him work out, he impressed me.
"Usyk looked in great shape. He said he's focused and ready and is very confident."
The incumbent goes into the fight as the favourite following his dominant first performance, but former world champion Khan is not certain that either fighter has the edge.
Joshua has promoted Angel Fernandez to head trainer and added Robert Garcia to the mix in a bid to improve his chances.
"Hard to say, 50-50 who wins," Khan claimed.
