Andy Ruiz is close with Jarrell Miller, but their friendship will go out the window when they clash this summer.
The heavyweight pair, both big rivals of Anthony Joshua, will meet in what promises to be a thrilling encounter on August 3 in Los Angeles.
Ruiz, a former heavyweight champion, is hopeful his career can become an active one again after only two fights in the last four years.
If successful against the outspoken New Yorker, Ruiz is likely to target another title crack, but first he’s promised to enjoy a snack with Miller.
“I’m sure after I get that victory me and him are gonna go share a burger,” said Ruiz when speaking to The Ring.
Ruiz vs. Miller will do battle later this year when they appear on a huge card that also features Terence Crawford jumping to 154lbs to face Israil Madrimov.
