Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder will happen claims Eddie HearnDAZN
The Matchroom boss believes the heavyweight mega-fight will happen at some point in the future.

Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder may not be world heavyweight champions no more, but a fight between the two still has the potential to generate huge interest.

Speaking in a Q&A on DAZN Boxing's Twitter account, Matchroom's Eddie Hearn said a fight between the Joshua and Wilder could still be made.

"Anthony Joshua has proved time and time again he’ll fight anybody," Hearn said.

"A great fight if Wilder stays in the sport, I believe at some stage that fight will happen.

"But for now, it’s time for AJ to defeat Oleksandr Usyk."

Wilder has been silent since losing to Tyson Fury last October in an unforgettable trilogy fight which has prompted some assumptions that the American is contemplating retirement from the sport which made him a superstar.

Joshua meanwhile has made some changes in his training camp following his defet to Usyk last year, most notably replacing head trainer Rob McCracken with Angel Fernandez.
