The Irish fighter made the prediction on the DAZN Boxing Show.

Irish featherweight Michael Conlan believes that Anthony Joshua is too powerful for his challenger Oleksandr Usyk.

Usyk is Joshua’s WBO mandatory challenger and now has the chance to fight for all three of the former Olympian’s major belts on September 25.

Joshua had been due to fight Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia to settle the title of undisputed heavyweight champion, but that event collapsed, with the WBC champion now due to meet Deontay Wilder for an October trilogy rematch.

Speaking to the DAZN Boxing Show, Conlan predicted that Joshua had too much of a size advantage.

“I think Joshua is too big, too strong,” Conlan began.

“Before Usyk fought [Dereck] Chisora I wouldn't say it's Usyk, but after his performance against Chisora I think Joshua does it.”
