Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - Former UFC fighter unsure about one fighter's ability to climb off the floorMatchroom
Joshua and Ngannou will collide this week.

Dan Hardy doesn't have confidence in Anthony Joshua being able to climb off the floor to win when he faces Francis Ngannou this on Friday.

The fight, live on DAZN PPV on March 8, will see Ngannou try to score his first professional win when he takes on the former world champion, and Hardy has some strong words for Joshua.

Last October, Ngannou made his debut and almost caused one of the biggest shocks of all time when he dropped Tyson Fury before losing via split decision.

Ngannou’s power allowed him to make a significant impact in his new sport, and Hardy has spoken about what will happen if the former UFC superstar lands on Joshua.

“I stand by this; I don’t think AJ gets back up off the canvas with the same kind of confidence we saw from Fury,” said Hardy, a former UFC fighter himself, when speaking to Metro

“I don’t know if AJ has the same mental fortitude to deal with this same kind of pressure. AJ is still in the process of rebuilding his own career. It is a massive, massive risk for him, and I think that will dawn on him on fight day.”
