Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou: Former UFC star Alistair Overeem gives verdict ahead of huge fightMatchroom
It's not long until the two heavyweights go head-to-head.

Retired MMA fighter Alistair Overeem is backing Francis Ngannou to 'shock the world' and beat Anthony Joshua when the pair meet on DAZN PPV tonight.

Overeem has history with Ngannou after they went head-to-head at UFC 218, but unfortunately for Overeem, he was on the wrong end of a trademark Ngannou knockout finish in the first round.

Now Overeem is in Riyadh to support his former rival and he is expecting an upset when Ngannou and Joshua collide in Riyadh.

"If I’m honest, I think so, but of course my respect to Anthony Joshua," Overeem told DAZN when asked whether Ngannou will have his arm raised come the end of the fight.

"I think for Francis Ngannou the outing with Tyson Fury just built up his confidence and we’re going to see an improved Francis Ngannou who is more loose, more confident.

"I think he’s going to shock the world or Anthony Joshua by decision because he is more seasoned, but I think Francis could do it."
