Martin Bakole believes that Francis Ngannou has the power to hurt Anthony Joshua if the pair collide later this year.
The pair have agreed to a contest to take place in Saudi Arabia and although the bout is still not official, a huge heavyweight encounter featuring the heavy-handed rivals is set to go down in March.
Bakole, a fighter who put himself into the heavyweight title mix late last year with an impressive win over Carlos Takam, will be an interested spectator when Joshua eventually meets Ngannou.
The Congolese star is eager to land another big fight but on Joshau/Ngannou, he’s expecting an upset to take place.
“Ngannou as well is coming into it, wanting to make a name for himself in boxing, everyone is surprised after the Tyson Fury fight,” said Bakole when speaking to IFLTV.
“He is a good man, he has got a good heart and he’s got everything up there. If he lands on Joshua, I think that he will stop him because this time he is taking it seriously as well, and he will be working hard on it [his boxing skills].”
