Eddie Hearn has been putting in the legwork in recent weeks.

Eddie Hearn believes Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will be offered a choice of venues for their first fight this week.

Hearn has been travelling the world to visit potential venues for the summer fight between Joshua and Fury, and told DAZN's Ak & Barak that talks are progressing with Top Rank’s Bob Arum.

The Matchroom promoter hinted that he thinks he is doing the lion’s share of the work in the hunt for a venue.

“Blimey, is it just me?” he asked.

“I spoke to Bob Arum last night, I have another call with him today.  Basically at the end of this week we're going to present all the options to the fighters.

“At the end of the day this fight isn’t going to be made by itself. If I have to be the one to go and do it, I’m going to do it.

“I’m sure they‘ve had other conversations as well but at the end of this week, it’s going to be about sitting down and saying who’s got what.

“I know all those bits are going to come from me, but I don’t care as long as we get the fight made.”

Hearn said that while he may be doing the work to find an appropriate site, it will be the champions who decide the venue.

“It’s up to them," he continued. "What they want to do, where they want to go, and we’ll get this thing on."
