Anthony Joshua will have no problems against Oleksandr Usyk, claims David HayeDAZN
The former WBA heavyweight champion believes the current belt holder will have little difficulty against his WBO mandatory.

David Haye thinks Anthony Joshua will be too powerful for his Ukrainian challenger Oleksandr Usyk.

Joshua will face his WBO mandatory challenger Usyk on September 25 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, after the governing body ordered a fight following Tyson Fury’s failure to agree to an undisputed clash, as had been expected.

While Fury’s preparation for his other fight, against Deontay Wilder, has been postponed by the WBC champion’s bout of coronavirus, the Usyk-Joshua clash appears to be going ahead as planned.

Speaking on IFL TV, former cruiserweight and heavyweight world champion Haye explained there was an easy route to victory for the IBF, WBA and WBO belt holder.

"I think if Anthony Joshua decides to have a tit-for-tat boxing match, like just jabbing and trying to score points, then he'd have some trouble, but he's not stupid enough to do that,” Haye said.

"He's just going to use his beautiful jab, use his height and reach advantage, his size and weight advantage, his punch power advantage, his physical athletic advantage, the advantage of being able to receive punches from big heavyweights.

"He's just better all round and it's just gonna be pretty devastating.

"I've seen it in my head, I've said it a couple of times before, he's gonna hit him with a one-two, might not even land one-two, but he's going to come across with the left cross, nice jab, and put him down or out, one of the two."
