Regis Prograis is backing Artur Beterbiev to defeat Dmitry Bivol this weekend after hearing sparring tales about the unified light-heavyweight champion.
All the glory at 175lbs will be up for grabs this Saturday night, live on DAZN , as an undisputed ruler will be crowned at light-heavyweight for the first time since 1999 when Roy Jones Jr took all the belts.
The entire boxing world is split on the outcome as Beterbiev’s power will be going up against the impressive skill of Bivol.
Prograis, who also fights on DAZN later this month against Jack Catterall, is a huge admirer of both fighters, but he’s leaning towards Beterbiev in what could be the best fight of 2024.

“I’m picking Beterbiev, but only because I was in Vegas and spoke to someone who sparred with him,” said Prograis when speaking with Boxing News .
“He said, ‘Oh man, that dude. Sparring four rounds with him is like fighting 20 rounds. He’s like a monster.
“He sparred him and Bivol. He was like, ‘Beterbiev is a killer, an absolute monster.’ So, I would lean towards Beterbiev.”
