Lauren Price is hopeful she can become world champion, but her promoter believes she’ll hold glory in many weight classes.
Price returns to action tomorrow night when she faces Italy’s Silvia Bortot on the undercard of Chris Billam-Smith's world title defence against Mateusz Masternak in Bournemouth.
Price has enjoyed a solid start to her professional career so far with five wins from as many bouts after a successful amateur run that saw her win Olympic gold at the 2020 Games.
A win for Price over Bortot will see her finish 2023 strong, and Shalom believes there's plenty more to come from the Welsh fighter.
"I believe we're going to see a multi-weight world champion here," said Shalom when speaking to BBC Sport.
"She'll have to make a statement on Sunday. Natasha Jonas-Mikaela Mayer, the winner of that, Sandy Ryan as well, Jessica McCaskill, the whole weight division is bustling with talent and Lauren believes she's the best of the lot."
