Frazer Clarke is aiming for a huge 2024 and the heavyweight star is targeting a British title fight with Fabio Wardley next.
Clarke and Wardley were close to securing a bout last year but purse bids for the contest were pulled at the last moment with Wardley pushing on to become domestic champion thanks to a win over David Adeleye.
Currently 8-0 and eager to be fast-tracked towards championship opportunities due to his extensive amateur background, Clarke wants Wardley next.
Ben Shalom, the promoter of Clarke, is doing all he can to deliver big nights for his heavyweight star and he’s hopeful that a bout with Wardley can be secured in the near future.
"Frazer's looking to be back February or March and we hope it's going to be Fabio Wardley,” said Shalom when speaking to Sky Sports.
“I think that's the fight that both fighters want, that's the fight that the promoters want, and the networks want so I expect it to happen.
"February, March, even early April we'll see. Talks are ongoing with all the teams. I know both fighters want that fight to be next so I'm sure we'll see it early next year. It's the right time and it's a huge fight for British boxing.”
