Bakole and Joyce, both contenders to the crowns held by Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, are familiar with each other after spending plenty of time in the ring helping each other prepare.
Both fighters have often sought the best sparring opportunities with Bakole spending time in the camp of Usyk and Joyce having previously joined Fury.
Bakole took to X earlier this week to show footage from his spar with Joyce that showed him dominating proceedings for a short period.
Jones, a figure who believes that what happens in the gym should stay that way, took issue with the post, and responded with more footage. This time, Bakole was on the floor being passed a bucket.
