Artur Beterbiev is one of boxing's best fighters.

Anthony Yarde gets his 2024 underway in the ring this Saturday night when he faces Marko Nikolic in London.

Yarde’s bout against the Serbian man is intended to be used as a platform for bigger fights and the former world title challenger is eager to test himself against Artur Beterbiev for a second time.

Last year, Yarde enjoyed home advantage against the unified light-heavyweight champion, but he was unable to make it count as he was stopped in the eighth round.

Yarde had given a solid account of himself up until the stoppage, and he’s confident that his former rival can be defeated.

"I hurt him a lot of times, there were times when I was on top in the fight, and no-one has ever pushed him like that,” said Yarde when speaking to TNT Sports

“He’s human, he can be beat, he does look like he’s getting better as we’ve seen from his last performance.

“I’ve said it out in the open and to people in my team as well, I’ll fight Beterbiev again. I want the big fights and I’ll work myself back up to get to that point.”
