It is still unknown as to who Saul "Canelo" Alvarez will face in his next fight.
The undisputed super middleweight champion last fought on May 4 when he successfully defended all four of his world titles against fellow Mexican Jaime Munguia.
It's expected that Alvarez will fight for a second time this year in September, and Britain's Chris Eubank Jr. has emerged as a frontrunner to face the pound-for-pound star next, according to ESPN's Salvador Rodriguez.
Eubank Jr. has not fought since last September when he stopped Liam Smith in the tenth round of their rematch in Manchester.
The Brighton fighter boasts a professional record of 33-3 (24 KOs), but he will be coming up against a fighter in Alvarez who has beaten all eight of his British opponents.
