The Londoner is coming off another win on Saturday.

British light-heavyweight Anthony Yarde says he is "ready whenever" to fight fellow Londoner Joshua Buatsi.

Yarde, 32, was quick to beat Marko Nikolic, stopping the fight in the third round for his 24th stoppage from 25 wins.

Yarde and Buatsi have been on a collision course since turning professional, as two of the best British fighters at that weight.

And after Yarde's win over Nikolic, the pair spoke on TNT Sport about making a fight happen in the near future.

"This fight between me and JB is 100 times bigger [than his fight against Dan Azeez] ," said Yarde.

"Me and him have always had a mutual respect, we've agreed we are going to get it cracking.

"We've always had it in our minds we're going to fight. We have both said it, we want the fight, now it's about the timing of it."

Olympic bronze medallist Buatsi will be the mandatory challenger for Dmitry Bivol's WBA light-heavyweight world title, but first the Russian faces Artur Beterbiev on 1 June.

Asked if a potential fight could be made this summer, Yarde said: "For me, I'm ready whenever.

"It's about making the deal and making it happen. [Artur] Beterbiev is fighting [Dmitry] Bivol, if me and Joshua could fight for a [potentially vacant] world title, that's the icing on the cake."

When asked the same question Buatsi responded: "My answer is simple and short, I'm ready!"
