Canelo Alvarez gives honest opinion on crossover boxers Jake and Logan PaulDAZN

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez has nothing but praise for what Jake Paul and his brother Logan have done in boxing, despite being a part of the crossover boxing space.

With a 6-1 record as a professional, Paul has stepped up the level of opponent in each fight with his next outing coming against Nate Diaz on August 5 live on DAZN PPV.

While Paul has shown that he has some ability, 'The Problem Child' is often met with criticism from traditional boxing fans who believe media personalities should not be lacing up the gloves.

But one of those that will not criticise Paul is the undisputed super middleweight champion Alvarez who believes what Paul and his brother are doing is benefitting boxing by bringing in a new audience.

"Look, they can do everything they want, right?" Alvarez told Roobet when asked to give his opinion on Jake and Logan Paul as boxers.

"At the end of the day, anybody can do what they want and I'm fine with that. They bring more fans to the sport of boxing."

Despite his only fight against a professional boxer being a loss to Tommy Fury, this has not stopped Paul calling out the likes of Alvarez for a fight in the future.

However, a clash with Paul will not be on Alvarez's radar, the Mexican has business to attend to on May 6 when he defends his undisputed super middleweight title against John Ryder live on DAZN and DAZN PPV
