Canelo Alvarez vs. Dmitry Bivol: How to purchase on DAZN PPV via Android TV, Fire TV and StickDAZN
Watch boxing's pound-for-pound king take on yet another formidable and undefeated champion opponent live, Saturday May 7.

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez is the undisputed super-middleweight champion of the world, a four-weight world titleholder, boxing's hottest ticket and universally recognised as the number one pound-for-pound fighter in the sport today.

And he has no intention of resting on his laurels.

Canelo's quest for one of the greatest legacies boxing has ever seen continues on Saturday, May 7 when he takes on WBA (Super) light-heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol. Bivol is undefeated thus far as a professional and poses a very difficult challenge for the Mexican.

However Alvarez has conquered everything put in front of him over the past nine years, and has already held gold at 175lbs when he defeated Sergey Kovalev in 2019.

This huge fight is available to all customers in the United States and Canada via DAZN PPV, whether you are an existing DAZN subscription customer or not.

Here's everything you need to know.

How much does DAZN cost?

DAZN is available on a monthly subscription. In the United States you'd pay one flat fee of $19.99 USD each month or $149.99 for an entire year (a value of $12.50 a month), and you can stop and start whenever you wish.

The fee varies by territory, so check DAZN in your country for further information.

If you are in Argentina, Chile, and Colombia, you must download DAZN from the Apple App Store or Android Google Play store and then sign up from there.

So how much will a DAZN PPV cost, then?

Canelo Alvarez vs. Dmitry Bivol will be available on DAZN PPV in the United States for $59.99 (and in Canada for 59.99 CA$) to current DAZN subscribers. Added to their subscription fee for the month, existing subscribers will pay a total of $79.98 (both US and CA) for the pound-for-pound king's big test at light-heavyweight against the undefeated WBA champion on May 7, plus all of May's exciting subscription content on DAZN.

Those who do not currently subscribe, meanwhile, can order Canelo vs. Bivol via DAZN PPV on the app for $79.99 US/ $79.99 CA, and this will give them not only Canelo vs. Bivol but an entire month of DAZN's subscription offerings, including live fight nights almost every week, a range of other sports, classic fights, exclusive interviews, The DAZN Boxing Show every weekday and more.

Please note that the month's subscription is only included when the PPV is ordered through the DAZN app, not other independent providers of the fight.

In comparison, Canelo's most recent fight (vs. Caleb Plant) cost $79.99 for that show and that show only; Keith Thurman's recent return to action vs. Mario Barrios cost $74.99 for that show only.

What about hidden fees?

None. Nothing. Zero.

There are no extra charges. Not for particular matches or fights, not after three months, or six or 12. You pay your monthly subscription for a host of live fights. Also, you can choose to purchase DAZN PPVs as and when they are made available on top of that, and that's it.

Non-subscribers who purchase a DAZN PPV via the DAZN app can enjoy an entire month of the DAZN subscription service as well. In addition, you will be able to choose exactly how long they wish to remain subscribers.
