Fresh off of defeating Errol Spence Jr. late last month, Terence Crawford has already stated his interest in fighting Jermell Charlo.
But first, he'll have to wait for Charlo, the undisputed junior middleweight world champion, to step up and fight undisputed super middleweight king Canelo Alvarez on Sept. 30.
So, who does Crawford like to win that fight?
"I got Canelo," Crawford, the newly-crowned welterweight world champion, told "The Breakfast Club" on Thursday. "I think it's going to be a good fight.
"I think a lot of people are sleeping on Charlo but he's skillful, he's big and he's bigger than Canelo," Crawford also pointed out, despite the fact that Charlo is moving up two weight classes to challenge Canelo.
"Even though Canelo is at a higher weight, I think Canelo is going to be stronger than him, I think Canelo is going to be more powerful than him."
That being said, Crawford believes Charlo can make it intriguing.
He addded: "But at the same time, I think Charlo has the boxing skills to make it a competitive fight. [If] he uses his jab, straight punches and don't get caught up with all the feints and stuff that Canelo throws, I think it'd be competitive."
