Former super middleweight world champion Carl Froch has continued to hit out at Tyson Fury in another slur against the heavyweight fighter.
Froch has been highly critical of Fury in recent months and previously stated his belief that the boxer doesn’t want to fight OIeksandr Usyk.
Talking to instantcasino.com, Froch has doubled-down on his opinion of Fury and accused him of losing his passion for boxing, claiming he no longer has the right motivation to be the best in the sport.
“I thought Tyson would pull out with an injury or he’d say I’ve got a bad back or something.” Froch said.
“But to be fair to him, to have a cut that requires actual stitches, then it’s a genuine injury and the fight does need delaying. They’ve announced that it has been rescheduled for May 18th but I’m still not convinced. I just don’t think Tyson Fury’s heart is in the game anymore.
“The only thing that I’d say that’s conspiratorial around that cut is the timing of it, because that injury for me is not an acute injury. It’s not fresh. That cut is a week old in my eyes. It was not a day old cut when they did that video. Why have they done that? Maybe because they’ve panicked and left it a week to get a plan in place.”
