Carl Froch has plenty to say.

Carl Froch has called on Francis Ngannou to retire from boxing after losing the first two boxing bouts of his professional career.

Last week, the former UFC superstar was knocked out in two rounds by Anthony Joshua leaving his boxing hopes in tatters as he was massively exposed.

Last October, Ngannou made his debut against Tyson Fury, and he almost caused a huge shock when he dropped the WBC champion before losing narrowly on points.

Ngannou is now 0-2 and will have plenty of options moving forward across boxing and MMA, but Froch, a former world champion himself, has urged the Frenchman to walk away from the sport he’s still a novice in.

“I don’t think he should be in a professional ring again,” said Froch when speaking to talkSPORT

“He’s had two fights as a professional. He’s lost to Tyson Fury, and now he’s been badly knocked out by Anthony Joshua.”
