Carl Froch has no interest in seeing Kell Brook returning to the ring as the Sheffield man ponders whether to remain in retirement.
Brook has not fought since he defeated Amir Khan in a one-sided bout back in 2022, but his name continues to be linked to big fights.
During his lengthy career, Brook held the IBF welterweight title, but he endured back-to-back hard nights when he was stopped by Gennadiy Golovkin and Errol Spence.
Brook was also beaten by Terence Crawford, but he finished his time in boxing on a high when stopping Khan. Froch thinks a comeback by Brook could be disastrous.
“No, [I don’t want to see him back]. Kell Brook is fragile, he is physically and mentally fragile now,” said Froch when speaking to Talksport.
“When I say mentally, he can’t have any confidence.”
