While an official announcement has not been made, many of those within the boxing world are already giving their thoughts on the undisputed heavyweight title fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk including Hall of Famer Carl Froch.
The two fighters have been negotiating one of the biggest fights of 2023 for months and now everything looks to be pointing towards an April 29 meeting at Wembley Stadium after Usyk accepted Fury's 70/30 split offer.
Facing Usyk will likely be Fury's toughest test to date with Froch warning the WBC world heavyweight champion that the Ukrainian's time at heavyweight is yet to reach its peak.
"AJ took the fight and Usyk outclassed him and became unified champion. It was just an amazing performance and one that not many people thought he could win with so much ease," Froch said on his YouTube channel Froch on Fighting.
"Usyk was pure class, he’s a quality operator and I don’t think we’ve seen the best of him at heavyweight.
"If Usyk can manoeuvre Tyson Fury around the ring, keep him on his back foot, we know Tyson can go 12 rounds on his feet, nice and light, but he’s getting bigger, he’s getting heavier.
"Usyk is coming in really confident he can do the business against Fury. This fight is going to be closer than most of the boxing experts think. All the pressure is on Fury.”
