Chisora contacts Wilder over Fury claims, puts himself forward for Whyte trilogy matchDAZN
British heavyweight Dereck Chisora has said he would fight Dillian Whyte in just a little over two weeks, while he also has revealed he contacted Deontay Wilder over his recent social media outbursts.

Fellow British heavyweight Dereck Chisora has also thrown his hat in the ring for an unlikely fight as he offered to face Dillian Whyte, in a match-up that would be just three weeks after his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.

Whyte’s scheduled fight with Alexander Povetkin was due for Nov. 21, but Povetkin’s positive coronavirus test means the Briton is free to fight another opponent. (A new Whyte-Povetkin date for January is also being worked on.)

Speaking on Eddie Hearn’s Instagram broadcast, 36-year-old Chisora said: "Do you want to give me that fight? I'll take that."

Hearn has put forward Whyte as a potential rival for Tyson Fury, something that Fury’s co-promoter Frank Warren has given short shrift.

Chisora is almost certain to be turned down for the fight after his defeat to Usyk, given it would be two fights just three weeks apart.

A Whyte-Chisora fight would be the third meeting between the pair after they fought first in 2016 and then 2018.

Despite the loss, Chisora’s manager David Haye talked up the possibility of the pair fighting next month.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, he said: "The proposition of Whyte-Chisora III? Both fights were epic.”

"Derek is in shape. They saw him at the weekend pushing in every moment of every round.

"I think it's a great fight. Dillian said he's the 'can man'.

"We've heard him say he would fight anyone but everyone is running from him. Well, we've got someone here! What are you going to do?"

Meanwhile, Chisora told IFL TV that he had contacted Deontay Wilder in order to discuss his social media claims about his past fight with Tyson Fury.

Wilder suggested Fury had used weights in his gloves to given him an unfair advantage, and even suggested he had been drugged with a muscle relaxant before his loss, hitting out at co-trainer Mark Breland for throwing in the towel during the fight.

The former WBC heavyweight has since parted ways with Breland.

Chisora said: "I sent him a message to be honest with you.

“I was like, 'Listen bro, just dust yourself off man. Just get back in the ring.' This whole thing of next minute you’re talking about black empowerment, this and this.

“This is the fight game. You lost the fight. You know what you do: brush yourself, bounce back, take your rematch.

"But he’s coming out with excuses. He has this in his glove, he had that in his glove, water was spiked. Was the water spiked? How does he know the water was spiked?

"But he’s just coming up with excuses man. Bro, just take the fight, you got beat, everybody loses a fight, just come back. He keeps crying about this nonsense, I don’t know why."
