Errol Spence might be too big for Terence Crawford. That’s the verdict from WBA super featherweight interim champion, Chris Colbert, who was the special guest on Friday’s DAZN Boxing Show.
Currently preparing for Saturday's fight against Mongolia’s Tugstsogt Nyambayar, Colbert was quizzed on the welterweight division by hosts, Ak and Barak, and when asked who would emerge victorious if Spence ever met Crawford, the Brooklyn fighter provided his thoughts.
“I mean, you can't ask me because in my opinion, I'm gonna get battered,” said Colbert. “I'm gonna be honest, though. I’ll be honest. I think right now. I think Crawford might be too small for him. I think Crawford got the skills.”
“I heard Spence is physically strong like he's really strong. Really strong. Who spread out expenses really strong. So, I think Crawford might be too small I don't know.
“It's two ways if I could play out good, I think Crawford definitely got the boxing skills to win. But I think Crawford is a brave guy sometimes. Alright, he got caught lagging against monster [Egidijus Kavaliauskas] whatever his name was.”
