Chris Eubank Jr. does not fear any slip-ups after his long absence from the ring, as he prepares to face Kamil Szeremeta at Riyadh Season's IV Crown Showdown live on DAZN.
The Briton will step into the ring at the Kingdom Arena for the first time in more than a year on the card for Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol's undisputed light-heavyweight battle.
Eubank Jr. previously contested a bout in September 2023 when he claimed revenge over Liam Smith following just a third career loss against his rival the prior January.
Asked at Thursday's press conference whether he feared any ring rust at the event however, the 35-year-old - wearing a keffiyeh - shot down any such suggestions.
"I’m ready, I’m confident," he said. "I look good in this Saudi attire. This is an amazing event, an amazing city. There are amazing people here and I’m ready to put on a show.
"A lifetime’s worth of preparation and dedication is how you make sure you don’t slip up on fights like this. It’s about how you lived for the last twenty years of your life.
11.15pm | Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol | IBF, WBC, WBO and WBA light heavyweight titles |

8pm | Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kamil Szeremeta | Middleweight |
7pm | Skye Nicolson vs. Raven Chapman | For Nicolson's WBC women's featherweight title |
6pm | Ben Whittaker vs. Liam Cameron | Light heavyweight |
5.35pm | Mohammaed Alakel vs. Jesus Gonzalez | Lightweight |
"For me personally, I’ve lived an exceptional life in terms of my boxing career and in terms of discipline, in terms of keeping in shape, keeping the mind sharp as well as the body.
"So there won’t be banana skins, there won’t be slip-ups, there won’t be mistakes. There will be only devastating punches and a KO to finish this fight."
Eubank Jr. has spent much of the last few weeks talking up future opponents beyond this weekend, and believes he can still deliver within his class.
"In my opinion, in the middleweight division, nobody comes close to me," he added. "You can put any man in front of me and they’re going to get dealt with accordingly.
"You guys will see why I say these things in a couple of days’ time."
