Chris Eubank Jr reveals his fight wishlist for 2023DAZN

Chris Eubank Jr is hoping 2023 can be the biggest year of his professional boxing career as he looks to face some of the sport's biggest names.

But first, he must successfully get past domestic rival Liam Smith in Manchester on January 21.

Speaking to Sky Sports during his training camp for the Smith fight, Eubank Jr stated that he wants to fight three times over the next 12 months and has two pound-for-pound legends in his sights.

"Golovkin number one because he has those middleweight belts and it's a fight that can and should be made," Eubank Jr said.

"I guess Canelo would be number two. He's the big name. He's the guy everyone knows in the sport and I think I can beat him. Those would be my two Christmas wish list fights for the rest of the year."

But while landing a date with Canelo Alvarez or Golovkin is something which Eubank Jr wants, he won't be dissapointed if this doesn't come to fruition due to the sheer amount of options at both world and domestic level.

"The exciting thing is there's so many other names out there in and around my weight class. So the list is endless. You've got all the world champions in the middleweight division, you've got a load of domestic fights that can be made that people are dying to see," Eubank Jr continued.

"So I'm in a great position. I've just got to stay active. That's the key for me; being busy."
