The first planned Fight Camp headliner has been moved back to later August or September, per The DAZN Boxing Show.

Eddie Hearn says that Conor Benn is ‘absolutely devastated’ that he won’t be able to fight Adrian Granados this weekend.

The pair had been due to fight this weekend in the opening Fight Camp event on Matchroom, and speaking on the DAZN Boxing Show, Hearn explained how Benn reacted.

“He’s absolutely devastated, he wanted to fight. ‘There must be a way, I’m fine, I’m fine.’” he began.

“[I] sent him off for a couple of PCR tests, he’s got a couple of days to go. Hopefully he stays without major symptoms, feels ok.”

Hearn suggested that a quick turnaround on a rematch is on the cards.

“There is a strong chance we could reschedule that fight for August 14, but maybe the more sensible option is September 4, which is a massive card.

“We stacked the first week so deep that we have a stunning card on Saturday.”
