Next year could be an important one for rising British star Conor Benn.
Following a year of inactivity due to an adverse finding in a drugs test, Benn finally returned in September when he beat Rodolfo Orozco in Orlando.
Now the ring rust has been shaken off, Benn is eager to pursue the big fights as a result of making up for lost time.
One of those has been the long-awaited grudge match with Chris Eubank Jr., but with rumours that the contest is in danger of falling through, Benn has taken to social media to call out IBF world welterweight champion Jarron Ennis.
"All these welterweights are running scared from @JaronEnnis well I’ll run right to him," Benn wrote on X.
"Let’s go champ."
Jaron Ennis was elevated to full IBF welterweight champion earlier this month as a result of Terence Crawford being stripped by the governing body.
