Conor Benn says that fighting in Las Vegas is ‘a blessing’ and a ‘dream.’

The 27-year-old fighters for the second consecutive time in the United States, having ended a year away from the ring with a winning return against Rodolfo Orozco in Florida in 2023.

He is now switching to the other side of the US, where he will fight in Nevada against Peter Dobson, live on DAZN on Saturday.

Although the fight is taking place in the States, the timings are set for him to headline around 10pm in the United Kingdom so viewers back home can watch easily.

Speaking to BoxingScene.com, Benn was relieved to be fighting more regularly once more after his match-up with Chris Eubank Jr. fell through.

He said, “It’s a blessing, man, and I believe the right doors open and the wrong doors close. And, you know, for me to be headlining here in Vegas at the age of 27, it’s a dream, man. 

“It’s like I’m doing a little American tour. I’ll forever be grateful [to the Florida and Nevada commissions] because they’re paving the way for me to feed my family.”
