Conor Benn has vowed to end the career of Chris Eubank Jr. if the two meet in a huge domestic matchup in early 2024.
The two rivals were set to meet last year, but the fight was later cancelled after an adverse finding in one of Benn's drugs test.
Now talks have resumed for the pair to finally meet in the ring with a date in January or February being the likely time for when the fight will take place.
Ever since the first meeting was cancelled, Benn and Eubank have not been afraid to continue the rivarly whether it be on social media or during interviews, and now Benn has vowed to end his opponent's career if this re-arranged fight becomes a reality.
"I will dismantle him; I will ruin him," Benn told Matchroom Boxing's YouTube channel.
"He gets absolutely destroyed, there’s no comeback, there will be no comeback after he fights me.
"I said when I beat him, I’ll put him into early retirement, I said that before and nobody believed me.
"Look at the performance against [Liam] Smith, if that was me it would be done in two rounds, even in the last fight, it would get done in two or three rounds, tops.
"I will end his career, at least he can sail off into the sunset."
