Conor Benn vs. Peter Dobson took place in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, Feb. 3, with Benn walking away the victor.
"I respect any man who steps in the ring, but in terms of a man, no, not at all, " Benn said of his opponent after the win.
Benn made his highly-anticipated return to the ring after having not competed since his win over Rodolfo Orozco in September 2023, after an adverse finding in a drugs test for the British boxer ahead of his clash with Chris Eubank Jr. in October 2022 kept him out of the ring for 11 months.
The fight was closer than many, including Benn, thought it would be, going to decision instead of finish as Benn had predicted.
After the fight Eddie Hearn said he still wants Benn to fight Chris Eubank Jr. but the fight isn't signed yet.
"He's a p—y," Benn said of his would-be opponent.
Benn handed Dobson his first professional loss.
