Despite both men being linked to each other for many years now, we’re still no closer to an agreement that sees Anthony Joshua take on Deontay Wilder.

Both former world champions are still considering their next move but there is some brief speculation that the pair could meet in Saudi Arabia later this year.

Both men appear eager to reclaim their world titles after suffering series defeats against the division's current top two.

Joshua was beaten twice by Oleksandr Usyk and Wilder endured a double setback when losing two times to Tyson Fury against a draw in their thrilling trilogy.

David Haye, a former heavyweight world champion himself, isn’t sure whether Joshua is ‘busy’ enough to beat Wilder.

“The people who have had the most success with Wilder have been [Luis] Ortiz and [Tyson] Fury,” said Haye when speaking with Seconds Out.

“They both brought the fight to him, to beat Wilder you have got to get in range and get busy. Currently, ‘AJ’ hasn’t been getting busy.”
