The former world champion wants to get back to winning ways.

Deontay Wilder is looking to make a statement when he faces Zhilei Zhang this weekend live on DAZN

The pair will meet on the Queensberry vs. Matchroom 5v5 card in Riyadh and it is a crossroads fight for both men.

After Wilder and Zhang suffered recent losses to Joseph Parker, a loss could be the end of a boxing career for either fighter.

One criticism thrown towards Wilder following his loss to Parker back in December was his reluctance to throw the right hand which made him a feared name in the heavyweight division.

However, the former WBC champion is looking to showcase his knockout power once more and during Thursday's final press conference, he expressed his desire to replicate Muhammad Ali's iconic knockout win over Sonny Liston in 1965.

"I'm looking forward to proving I have still got what it takes, I have still got the juice," Wilder said.

"I'm going to be like Muhammad Ali did against Sonny Liston, I'm going to stand over his body like 65."

Wilder will be Team Matchroom's captain for the event, therefore his points score will be doubled depending on the method of victory if he overcomes Zhang on Saturday night.
