Deontay Wilder has posted a video on social media following his loss to Joseph Parker on Saturday night.
Despite being his first outing for 14 months, many were picking Wilder to beat the New Zealand fighter, but instead, it was Parker who produced an upset.
The former WBO world heavyweight champion dominated throughout the 12-round fight and was rightly awarded the victory on all three of the judges' scorecards.
Now Wilder has admitted that there were a number of problems with his strategy when reacting to the loss on Instagram.
"We came up short tonight, I don’t know what happened to be honest," Wilder said.
"My timing was off, I didn’t throw my punches, I didn’t let my hands go like I’m supposed to.
"Sometimes you get like that, but you live to see another fight, you live to see another moment."
