British heavyweight veteran Derek Chisora is confident Dillian Whyte can make a successful comeback following his loss to Tyson Fury this past April.
Whyte was stopped by the WBC world heavyweight champion in the sixth round at Wembley Stadium which led to some fans questioning whether there is still a place for ‘The Bodysnatcher’ in boxing.
Chisora however believes Whyte can return to the ring and continue to be a major player in what is a stacked a heavyweight division.
“I don’t understand why people make it the end of your career when you lose a fight,” Chisora said in an exclusive interview with DAZN.
“He’ll come back; he’ll fight on a big show to warm up.
“Boxing is a game of comeback kings; it doesn’t matter what you do.”
Chisora returns to the ring on Saturday night when he faces Kubrat Pulev for a second time at London’s O2 Arena live on DAZN.
