Derek Chisora is ready to test himself against Deontay Wilder. In the immediate aftermath of ‘Del’s’ defeat to Joseph Parker last December, Eddie Hearn, the promoter of that fight, touched on the possibility of Chisora and Deontay Wilder facing each other later this year.
With Wilder also looking to bounce back from a loss after enduring a gruelling setback against Tyson Fury for a second time, him and Chisora could attempt to rebound from devastating lows against each other. Wilder’s next move is still unconfirmed, but Chisora, game as ever, has revealed that he’d welcome the opportunity to face the former world champion.
“I’m a big fan of the Bronze Bomber, but before you hang them up, man, let me taste that power, baby,” said Chisora when speaking to SecondsOut.com. “I wanna come to America and have a war with you, brother.
“Let's rock and roll, baby. You know, I wanna taste that power. People always say he’s got power. But you know what I don’t think so. If you get this message, let me know. Vegas, or you come to Wembley, baby. I bring it to him. War. That's it.”
