Devin Haney accuses Gervonta Davis, Vasyl Lomachenko, Ryan Garcia and more of ducking him

Devin Haney accuses Gervonta Davis, Vasyl Lomachenko, Ryan Garcia and more of ducking himDAZN
The WBC lightweight champion is proudly labeling himself as the "duck hunter" in boxing's lightweight division and beyond.

Devin Haney is accusing some of boxing's biggest names of ducking him, and "The Dream" would like to let them know that he's gladly taking on the role of "duck hunter."

On Wednesday, the WBC lightweight world champion took to his Instagram account and posted a shot of Disney's "Donald Duck Family" comic book, portraying fellow lightweight titleholders Gervonta Davis, Vasyl Lomachenko and Teofimo Lopez Jr. as ducks. The faces of Ryan Garcia, Adrien Broner and Luke Campbell, to name a few more, are also Photoshopped on duck bodies to further illustrate his point.

Haney then captioned the post "The Duck Family tree" and labeled himself as the "#DuckHunter" for good measure.

Although Haney calling out the field of competition isn't anything new, he'll likely have to wait longer to face any of the aforementioned boxers due to a combination of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and some of the fighters being engaged in upcoming bouts of their own.

Davis, who's front and center in Haney's mocking post, is currently training for his Oct. 24 pay-per-view headliner against WBA junior lightweight champion Leo Santa Cruz. In fact, Davis recently posted an IG video of himself training alongside Floyd Mayweather Jr. in preparation for the bout.

Meanwhile, Lomachenko and Lopez are still trying to cement a date for their highly-anticipated lightweight title unification fight.

In addition, Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn told ESPN earlier this week that negotiations are ongoing for a fight pitting Garcia and Campbell together.

So, while it remains to be seen when Haney will be able to get any of them into the ring, the 21-year-old has once again put it out there that he has them in his crosshairs.
