WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney is confident that he can take away Ryan Garcia's biggest weapon in their grudge match.
The two rivals will meet on April 20 at the Barclays Center live on DAZN PPV in what is a huge fight stateside and for Haney, it's a chance to get another huge win on his resume.
For Garcia this will be his second major fight within 12 months after he came up short against Gervonta Davis, and he is hoping to win a world title at the first time of asking in Brooklyn.
Garcia will be hoping his speed and power will be able to trouble Haney come the opening bell, but the defending WBC 140lb champion explained how he will nullify his opponent's biggest asset.
"Ryan Garcia has power of course, but Regis Prograis had power, Linares had power, a lot of these guys had power," Haney told DAZN's Off the Cuff.
"I’m just on a different level, so he can bring all the power he wants, I’m going to bring the skills, the IQ that I’ve got and handicap him of his power."
