Devin Haney is preparing for an undisputed lightweight title fight in Australia on June 5.

WBC world lightweight champion Devin Haney is ready for a the hostile reception he will likely receive when he travels to Australia to face WBA, WBO and IBF champion George Kambosos Jr. on June 5.

When discussing whether he will be fazed by the crowd at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium, Haney believes his time fighting in Mexico at the start of his career has put him in a good position to deal with the atmosphere.

"It was pretty hostile but that's boxing," Haney told the Australian Associated Press.

"The boos are the boos no matter how many people and it's something that I'm used to.

"I looked forward to turning the boos into cheers when I come up victorious, that's the goal. Just like I did when I was in Tijuana.

"I'm looking forward to embracing the crowd in Australia and I'm looking forward to the energy the arena is going to bring so it's not going to be a bad thing."
