A huge fight takes place next month.

Devin Haney’s upcoming world title fight against Ryan Garcia is a showdown that has the entire boxing world buzzing.

Haney will defend his WBC super-lightweight title his fellow Californian on April 20 and Shane Mosley is the latest figure from the fight scene to have his say on the intriguing encounter.

A multiple world champion in several weight classes, Mosley is fully aware of what it takes to operate in the biggest fights.

After sharing the ring with Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather, and Manny Pacquiao, Mosley knows what elite level looks like and he’s offered his verdict on what will happen in what will be one of 2024’s biggest battles.

“I think Devin has the edge. I do love Ryan. He’s a California boy, but I’m not sure if Ryan will be able to pull the trigger and catch Devin in the midst of him trying to box and move around,” said Mosley when speaking to FightHype.

“I slightly take Devin as the victor, but I do think Ryan has a big chance to win it by catching him with a big left hook or a big punch because they do have a history with each other. They do know each other. It’s 50-50 in that sense. It’s very close.”
