Diego Pacheco is fast becoming one of boxing’s most exciting fighters as he continues his blistering rise up the super-middleweight rankings.
The Californian star enhanced his credentials last month with an impressive stoppage win over Maciej Sulecki and he’s eager to secure bigger fights.
As well as competing ferociously inside the ring, Pacheco is just as serious about his training as he spends gym sessions pushing himself against elite fighters.
Pacheco has sparred multiple rounds with Canelo Alvarez and David Benavidez, but he credits his brother, Federico, as being the hardest hitting person he’s ever shared a ring with.
"The toughest sparring it is hard, because every fighter is different and every sparring session is different,” said Pacheco when speaking to Talksport.
"But if I were to say power-wise I'd say my little brother. Obviously, he's a heavyweight but he's really strong and hits really hard.
"If I were to say skill wise, I would say David Benavidez. He is very skillful and has great defence."
